Social investment is at the very core of Abraham Kriel Childcare. The vision and mission of the organisation addresses the development of children and young people in need of care to ensure the cultivation of young adults who will be contributing members to society. This year saw the further development of the Emdeni Skills Development Centre in Soweto. The purpose of the centre is to promote the vocational skills of young people to enable them to establish their own micro-enterprises or alternatively to access employment opportunities.

In the context of BBBEE Abraham Kriel Childcare contributed one percentage of its net surplus to Socio Economic Development initiatives and two percentage of its net surplus to Enterprise Development initiatives outside our normal operational activities.
