NLDTF The last grant to Abraham Kriel Childcare received from the NLDTF was R7.66m paid in June 2010. NLDFT funding had a huge impact on capital and operational needs across the board, from residential care to community services. This included municipal service charges, food and transport. In addition the NLDTF funded the installation of Solar geysers at 50% of our points of usage, which impacted positively on the sustainability of AKC. They also funded the purchase of buses, which should see AKC transporting children for many years to come. Abraham Kriel Childcare is currently awaiting word from the NLDTF in respect of an application that was submitted in February 2011. |
